Leading experts in the field on interventional radiology and women’s health will present findings of a new report by the Society of Interventional Radiology on uterine fibroids and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE). During the briefing, experts will present new survey data on women’s awareness of this treatment option, as well as supporting research from the procedure’s 20 years of clinical use. The briefing will also feature a patient perspective on uterine fibroids and the barriers some women face in understanding their treatment options.
